1. Applying Eye Makeup
a) Eye Shadow
Prime your eyes with your concealer or your Foundation. You can do this by dotting the eye lid with your Brush. Pat it into the eyelid and then gently blend it into the entire eyelid. Now you are ready to apply the eye shadows.
To apply your eye shadow, start with a medium shade eye shadow and apply from the outer portion of your eye to the crease of your eye.
Apply a darker eye shadow color in the crease of your eye and blend up toward your brow bone.
You can then take a light eye shadow (we suggest the lightest, most natural shades) under the brow itself to make the eye seem larger and give your eyes a lift as well as contouring the brow bone.
b. Your brows frame your eyes and are one of the most expressive features on your face, so don’t forget to groom them. Tweeze, brush, and shape them regularly. For application choose an eye shade that is similar to your hair and lightly brush in your sparse areas. You can also correct the brow shape during application process.
c) Mascara
From a makeup artists point of view, don’t go from under the eye lash out, but actually place the wand on the top of the lash and move outward in a curling motion. Make sure to apply to your bottom lash as well. Tilt head forward and apply sparingly to the lower lashes.
2. Concealer
Using your Brush, gently dab your concealer with soft repetition on any imperfection or blemish you wish to make disappear. Less is more, so don’t cake it on. For the most beautiful and natural effect, apply your concealer in thin, light layers.
There is no need to blend the concealer into your skin, because when you buff your Foundation over your Concealer it will blend flawlessly. Remember that the rule is to apply concealer under powder foundation and over liquid foundation. the thing is to try either under and over to see which you prefer
3. Foundation
Using circular motions, buff your Foundation on your entire face with your foundation Brush. To achieve the desired natural flawless look, make sure you buff in gently and use thin layers.
Beauty Tip If your mineral foundation is too light or too dark, simply blend your foundations to create your own custom colors!
Foundation that is too light for your skin will appear chalky. If you find this to be the case, simply blend it with a darker shade of mineral foundation until you have the correct shade.
Foundation that is too dark will bring out and accentuate fine lines. If you find this to the case, simply blend with a lighter shade of foundation to achieve the perfect complexion.
Bring the mineral foundation into your hairline to achieve a natural healthy look. Last thing you want is to look like you have a mask on.
Keep in mind that a little mineral foundation goes a long way. It takes very little to acheive the full coverage and natural look you want.
Check closely in the mirror to see if you have applied the right amount of foundation. If you’ve applied too little, simply reapply another thin layer. If you’ve applied too much, use your Everyday Minerals Finishing Brush to remove the excess.
Apply your Flawless Mineral Foundation to your neck and décolleté. On your neck use long upward strokes toward your face. On your décolleté it is okay to use circular motions. This is important because you want your mineral foundation to blend together and look natural. Buffing your mineral powder makeup from your face through your neck gives that smooth transition and flawless finish that completes your look.
Your Everyday Minerals makeup, especially your mineral foundation, helps protect your skin against UV rays and airborne pollutants.
4. Apply Your Bronzer
For a natural sun-kissed look, buff the mineral Bronzer over your forehead, nose and cheeks where the sun normally hits your face.
You can also dust the Bronzer over your entire face for a complexion that warms up a room.
5. Face color
Once you’ve applied your mineral foundation, you are ready to apply your all over face color. With a lighter coverage than foundation, face color boosts your complexion with a transparent shimmer and radiance.
Using your Kabuki Brush, apply a very light dusting of the face color of your choice over your face.
Applying face color is basically the same as mineral foundation just remember that you only need a very light dusting.
6. Apply Your Blush
Blush should be applied to about an inch from the apple of your cheek an upward motion blending it before your ear. Make sure you apply a subtle amount to obtain that natural healthy look. Don’t smear it on, gently take your Powder Brush.
Colors that work best for your cheeks as a traditional blush are rosy colors or an enhanced brown. These colors bring out a more natural look and bring out a healthy radiance to your skin.
Blush gives the appearance of an uplifted cheek because of the upward sweeping motion – sort of like an instant facelift that naturally brings out your joy, matching all the shades of your mood and look!
7. Apply Your Lip Color and Lip Gloss
Lip Color
