Earlier today, the engaged friend decided she wasn’t ready for marriage. 2 minutes ago, my other friend who has been with her bf for 2 years went snooping (bad i know) on his computer and found out the bf had cheated on her 5 months into the relationship and is pretty upset. Now, everyone is single. Those that arent in relationships but are dating are mad at the guys? Me, im not mad at anyone. Im just having problems and i made a mistake by getting in touch with the ex and i regret it. i should have waited until it was truely necessary before getting in touch with him. There really is no reason to stay in contact with him. That’s the way i feel about exes. Its over, it’s done with and you’re like a stranger to me now and it felt strange talking to him on the phone.

Is there something in the freaking water? I will try and be there for my friends but i have my own shit to get together.

Also, i have good news. The guy at nordies called to offer me the job this morning and im going in tomorrow to fill out paperwork.

So everyone knows 99% of members of MUA are guys. Well, this guy signed up to ask the cafe advice about stuff. He’s a cross dresses and was married for 8 years and the wife had no clue. So we advised him to tell her. He came back tonight to tell us that he told her and she has packed her stuff. umm what did you expect? Now he’s thinking about cross dressing full time. Umm….wait…are you gay or straight? Cos if he’s cross dressing FT, then only guys would hit on him. It is really weird. Holy shit…i don’t think i
want to get married.

I just bought Nioxin smoothing protectives moisturizing shampoo to use as my gentle shampoo since i cant find my baby bees bar. So umm yeah i know i’ve been buying stuff lately and i guess i will blame it upon being stressed out over certain things. Shopping is definitely good therapy ....well, not really

So I cant sleep cos i had a migraine since this morning. I took 1 cafergot and 2 excedrin migraine. Im like wide awake. I was busy talking to some guy too. he seems cool. Lives in decatur but im leaning toward a LDR. I’m going to work on the guy that lives in Philly. I need someone i can see 4 times a year. That would be the perfect
 relationship. I look back and It seemed i was more comfortable in LDRs. 
Less maintenance too.

Well, i stumbled upon this gorgeous chi pink flatiron on target.com and i uh…bought it. It was 129 but i used a coupon and got it for 130 shipping and tax included. Its comes with chi silk infusion (how weird) and chi iron guard. I LOVE my maxiglide but i need something slim to get to the roots.

I cant wait to give it a try.

Hmm…so now that I’m out of the braids, i need to establish my regimen:

Wash with conditioner every 23 days
-Wash with shampoo once a week
-Wash with Kenra clarifying shampoo once a month
-deep condition on day i shampoo once a week
-Baggy ends with castor oil everyday
-Moisturise daily elasta qp recovery
-Relax every 3 months
-Prepoo with alter ego garlic treatment on days i CO wash
-Prepoo with amla oil on days that i shampoo
-No trimming unless necessary and dusting split ends occassionaly

Well, i just discovered a band. They were on SNL last night. People said they sucked but i liked their performance. So i uh…got 2 of their songs. "Rebellion" and "Wake up" and i fell in love. Im now d/loading the rest of their songs. I still dont know the names of the ones that were performed on SNL. Well, thats 4 of their songs i like.
So far, my fav is "rebellion"

1. Maxesse moisturising shampoo
This product is made by the same company that makes the maxiglide. It came with my maxiglide when i ordered it off HSN. Ive had it for about 6 months and never bothered to use until a few days ago. I cannot find my Burt’s bees baby bees shampoo bar and this was laying around so i picked it up. It smelled good and once i applied it on my hair, can we say hard, tangled hair? It was a bad idea. Instead of giving it away, i threw it in the trash. I wouldnt want my enemy to use this shampoo. Well, not really

2. Kiehl’s leave in conditioner
I’ve used it twice. I like it. The first time, i didnt trust it so i applied my staple leave in after applying this one. The second time which was yesterday, i applied it and my hair feels soft today. The consistency is very thick so if i get it, i will mix with ashas silk rose leave in. Ashas is liquid and i found it hard to apply to my hair so ill mix both and see how they work together on my hair. I did ordered the full size 14.2 oz from saks.com last night and cant wait to receive it.

3. Kiehl’s heat protectant straightening cream
I used it for the first time last night and its definitely a keeper. Im not wearing my hair down so i dont know if its light weight. I still have a few more samples so i’ll use those before buying the bigger size.

4. MUAC 40% Lactic acid peel
I just used it a few minutes ago. I left it for 2 minutes instead of 1. It did burn a bit but not too bad but my face has a pink tinge to it. Next time, i will use this product on my neck. Im not sure what to look for to know if it’s working. I’ll keep an eye on my face for the next few days. I will use again next week and will increase the time to 4 minutes. The sample goes a loooong way. When im done with it, im contemplating getting the TCA peel but first, i want to get a sample of the glycolic peel to see which i prefer. I can then order a bigger size of the one that works for me

5. Elasta QP neutralizing shampoo
I bought this from a forum member because i heard good reviews about it. It didnt dry out my hair and my hair felt soft. I have the full size bottle and this will replace isoplus neutralizing shampoo and my HG neutralizing poo

So yeah i did it. I was too scared to try silk elements so i used an old faithful. ORS no-lye. A few minutes into applying, it started burning but i waited the full 12 minutes. I then rinsed and used Elasta QP neutralizing shampoo. I used it 3 times. I had put a conditioner mixture aside. Kenra MC, Paul Mitchell the detangler, this cinnamon conditioner and castor oil. I saw a lot of my hair coming out so i quickly mixed joico k-pak with it, applied to my hair and put on a shower cap. I then rinsed out and moisturized. As i was combing, CLUMPS of hair kept coming and wouldnt stop. I was crying and shaking by then. It was awful. Im not sure if its just shed hair or if its breakage. Either way, i ordered a bottle of nexxus emergencee and will use it next week.
I wanted to air dry but i decided to blow dry. I used the Kiehl’s heat protectant cream and i think this will become a staple. We’ll see.

I have just a bit of shedding now. I’m not sure if it is due to the saheli cos i lot of people complained about that. I dont want to know. It doesnt matter because im no longer taking it.

I THINK my hair is a bit longer. Not sure and dont really want to know. My main focus at the moment is the health of my hair

Hmm, ill prob. relax tomorrow evening or sunday. Im confused on what relaxer
to get. I’m thinking silk elements. I would go to the hair salon but the lady seems
 to enjoy flat ironing my hair and im done with that. She uses those ones that they heat up. I prefer and trust my maxiglide!! And im not even a heat advocate in the first place.

Which reminds me….i wanted to get drunk tonight but i changed my mind.

Anyhoo, so yeah, i’ll go and get Silk elements relaxer and also get Nexxus
 emergencee. I’ve put off getting this product for YEARS and i think its 
time to see what the rave is all about? I was about to purchase a
replacement of my joico k-pak reconstructor but eh….i dunno.

I tried the sample of kiehl’s leave in coditioner that i got and i liked it so 
its a possibility that i will buy from saks.com.

So yep, i’ve already based my scalp and ends with lots of vaseline and will
add more when its time. Relax, use the elasta qp neutralizing shampoo and
mix up kenra MC with different oils, glycerin and lactic acid. leave in will be
Ashas silk rose elixir. I trust it…..I will definitely air dry and will report on
how much hair i lose. I didnt detangle fully. I know i should have but i get
very upset when i lose hairrrrrr. 

A board member is sending me silicon mix as RAOK. Im so happy and i cant
wait to receive and try it. I hope i see it in the mail sometime next week.

I also put in an offer for a RAM for my laptop. I hope its the right one and i hope he accepts the offer.

So the new house is a done deal. I noticed that my mum is already changing addresses and stuff. Tope was complaining that the place was far so i gave her the new address and the old adress and its only 2 minutes farther from atlanta. I guess from the current place, its about 15 minutes cos we dont go from the highways.

Yep, the break up happened last night. Im really not upset over it. I deleted the ONLY pic of us ever and his phone number and blocked him on IM. Uh i also threw the valentine’s day card in the trash. It was not progressing and the smoking got to me. I saw this coming last night and let him know. Jeez….i love my feminine intuition. It never fails me. LOL
He "says" he’s moving to FL for his job but i don’t believe him and it’s really none of my business. I’m not trying to place ALL the blame on him but as far as I know, I was an amazing gf. hehe. I don’t see a reconciliation or any kind of friendship in the future. Not for a particular reason.

Ive been taking out my twists since 3.30pm. Once in a while, i’ve had to stop to do different things including talking on the phone with the DA for about an hour. My arms ache but im both wary and excited. Wary cos i dont know how much hair im going to lose in the shower. Excited to see the state of my hair and it feels good to feel my real hair once again.
Ope and I have decided to go to Wild bills tonight and we’ll meet up with Dan when we get there. Hopefully it will be fun and i really hope im done with the hair by then. Of course, i’ll be wearing a wig

I’ll keep on adding as i rediscover more. these are tried and true…as in ive tried em and they’ve worked for me!

-To apply eyeshadow wet (mineral or normal) spray mix fix + spray on the brush. If its a powder, pick up whatever amount you need with your brush and spray the fix + on it.
-ALWAYS apply moisturiser before applying foundation. Makes application smoother and easier
-Use eyelash curler before applying mascara and heating it(if its metal) helps
-Apply eyeshadow before foundation. So that you can clean up spillage from the eyeshadow
-Drugstore makeup doesnt have staying power and are not highly pigmented compared to mid and high end brands. A good drugstore brand for eyeshadows is milani. They are highly pigmented but dont have an abundance of colors.
-If you break out easily from foundation, try mineral foundation. Unfortunately, they tend to make me look pastey so if you’re dark skinned, might as well forget it!
-when applying makeup, start with a small amount. and then build up to get what you need. Its better than applying too much and then having to clean up and start again

I was browsing reviews for fyrinnae eyeshadows when someone mentioned this one. Well, their samples and full sizes are cheaper. The full size is 5g and its like 3 bucks while fyrinnae’s full size products are 3g for like 5 bucks. They ship samples for free Im going to browse and get a few samples. I noticed that most of the fyrinnae samples i got are mostly green. I have too many MAC purple eyeshadows so my next purchases might be blue and other colors that are different from what i currently have. I love discovering stuff like this

-I took my BAF 200 quiz 2 today and i didnt do too well though it was better than test 1.
-I finally got the hang of making shrimp! Last night, i just added ALL my spices in water, boiled and added the shrimp. Tonight, i bought vegetable broth, added some spices and tried the method again and it was awful! So next time, i’ll stick with my water method.
-I received the camellia oil in the mail and i cant wait to try it!
-I also received my fyrinnae order and im excited about that too!
-I bought a domain from godaddy.com to try and host my blog and uh…i dont like it so ill stick with blogsome
-I have gone back to my beloved Christian Dior self foaming cleanser. I realized that the cetaphil wasnt cleaning my face well. It wasnt stripping but still, whats the point of having a cleanser that wont cleanse? The CD one isnt stripping. I just had a problem with break outs and i thot that was the problem. We shall see
-Yep, i went to the interview today and no, i dont have the job. i dont know whether i have the job or not.
-I’m bored….........

So i have the interview tomorrow morning. I should be 
asleep now but im worried. ugh. this sucks

I learnt how to make poach eggs a few mins ago. 
I had already thrown in 1 egg into a pot of boiling 
water before asking for advice. Then i decided to try cooking one in the microwave. I kinda burned the one in the pot and the one in the microwave looks weird. i dunno.
I guess its a start

So yesterday, we had our valentine’s day lunch/dinner 
at the melting pot. The food was good and
 the service was excellent. We drove around for 
a while, went to Phipps but i didnt buy anything
 unfortunately which is good cos i’ve found something
 else to spend my money on. LOL
We then went to meet his friends at some hotel cos
one of them was celebrating his b’day. The guys
were cool but the girls were being…..girls. Me
and a drunk girl went to the bar and got 1 glass
or wine and some drink called "french whore" each.
The drink was really strong and i drank it really fast.
ugh. i think i was a little tipsy cos we had already
drank one huge glass one yin & yang at the MP
so i guess that made things worse. So i woke up  
this afternoon with a HUGE headache and now i
need to stuff myself with painkillers so that i can
study for my test tomorrow!! I really need to stop
drinking alcoholic drinks so much. ugh
