I received my MT rebuilder in the mail today….i mixed half and half of castor oil and lenzi’s request then added to the rebuilder so i have 2/3 or the rebuilder and the rest is the oil. I will apply on my scalp daily and use as a rinse out conditioner then follow with kenra mc because it has protein in it. I hope it works for me….and oops….i slipped with the no-flat ironing till no touch up rule. I had a meet up so i needed my hair to look good…I used the Giovanni tea tree triple treat shampoo and i love it so im getting rid of my Nioxin silk reflective shampoo…i have about 5 new, never used bottles.

Ok, i think my last relaxer was around Valentine’s day….the new growth is now unmanageable…Im going to stop blowdrying and flatironing till the next relaxer because i have been overdoing it for the past month. My last 4 relaxers have been with silk elements regular lye and ill stick with it. Here are the products in my rotation

Shampoo: Nioxin and kenra for clariying
Moisturizing Conditioners: V05 for CO washing, Kenra MC for rinse out and DC, Paul Mitchell the detangler, Capilo Sole and Cinnamon conditioner, Biolage Ultra hydrating balm
Protein conditioners: Motions silk protein
Protein treatments: Nexxus emergencee, Joico K-Pak reconstructor
Heat protectants: Kiehls straightening heat protectant creme, Giovanni vita pro leave in, kiehls silk groom serum
Daily moisturizers: Elasta QP oil recovery, Jane Carter Nourish & Shine(this is for laying down my edges. i mix with recovery, brush and tie a scarf), Dudleys PCA
Leave in conditioners: Kiehls leave in, Bumble and bumble leave in(rinse out) conditioner, Redken anti-snap leave in, Ashas silk rose elixir, Giovanni vitapro, Dudley’s PCA
Oils and butters: castor oil, lenzi’s request(liquid), camellia oil, Nadia for Seyani Hair Butter, Nadia For Eve Avocado Oil, Nadia For Deshani Scalp Elixir.

Now these are my staples that i rotate but i still have some products like nexxus heat protexx, silicon mix and some products im not using..or some that im trying to get rid of.

Now that its getting warm, i will use this oppurtunity to get to full APL…i hit APL months ago but my ends were jacked up so i trimmed viciously. The Chi flat iron destroyed my hair even though i used it like 5 times ever. It doesnt have heat control and even when i turned if on and off, my ends would be full of splits a day after flat ironing. I sold it on craigslist for $66 and bought a FHI for $70 on folica.com.
I have used it more than 10 times in a month with no split ends and believe me i have been searching. I also made sure i got the right heat protectants. What i usually do is to apply kielhs leave in, kiehls heat protectant cream, spray with giovanni vita pro if i feel like it, blowdry, apply Ashas, blowdry some more then section hair into 4 sections. I then apply a pump of kiehls silk groom serum on each section then i pass the iron ONCE on the sectioned sections. I set the temp of the iron to 350 degrees.

This was on easter:

Anyhoo, so now, i will:

co-wash a few times a week
shampoo once a month
clarify every 2 months
protein when i feel like i need it

Nightly routine:
ashas silk rose
elasta qp recovery
seyani hair butter
for edges, mix recovery with jane carter nourish and tie scarf.

My next relaxer will be May 31…..I can do this
