So i took pics of my face..its been about 1.5 months of using retin-a and finacea. I dont see a big difference…yet. Im bad at this but i remembered my lactic acid peel so i dug it out and used. I have added entries into my calender for every thursday so i can remember to use it. I have it on my face right now so i will leave it on for 5 mins today, 6 mins next thursday and then 7 mins after that. I have some random break outs and im still bad wit touching my face and picking. gross i know.

So this is what my schedule will be like:

Monday: Finacea

Tuesday: Finacea

Wednesday: Retin-a

Thursday: Lactic acid 40%

Friday: Finacea

Saturday: Finacea

I will skip one of these days every once in a while just to give my skin some rest.

Hair:

So I’m at the 1 month post relaxer point. the past few months, i have been relaxing at this point gasp. Well the main problem has been my edges so i have found what to do. Instead of relaxing, i will try to stretch 6 weeks. I honestly dont know the exact date i relaxed but i think it was either end of september or early october. Im going to say Oct. 1. If i make it past 6 weeks, ill shoot for 8 weeks and on and on like that. Maximum time i plan to stretch is 10 weeks. Today, i laid my edges with a little water and castor oil then i brushed and tied with a scarf.

 Also, i tried to cut layers in my hair. I "think" i did. I know im supposed to wash and blow dry before but i didnt. I had my hair in cornrows so i just took it down and cut. I had been contemplating doing the layers for a while but i dont have the time and i reall dont trust any stylists with scissors and my hair. I asked around real quick and found this video on youtube

 It was really helpful and easy and she’s gorgeous so i subscribed to her videos. This is what i cut off:

 I also did my bangs like she did but not so drastic. All the hair is from the top section, the back section, the bangs and then i grabbed some hair from the front left and front right sides and also cut that upwards. I do not know what my hair looks like because i did not wash it. I am being lazy and i know im playing with fire but i dont care. If doesnt come out right, at least i got the much needed trim! LOL

I relaxed yesterday. I had only a tiny amount in my silk elements jar so i got lost trying to find the Sallys in Kennesaw. I did find it and it was 5.49!! I bought my last jar for 3.99. Anyhoo, i applied bag balm on my ends and hair, applied with my hands and no glove, left it on for a few minutes(dont know how many. wasnt counting). I rinsed it out then shampooed twice with elasta qp neutralizing shampoo. i then followed with kenra clarifying shampoo. I rinsed out and applied porosity control. Left on for a few minutes and it melted out the tangles. I didnt rinse out the porosity control before applying giovanni tea tree shampoo. rinsed out then applied kenra mc. put on shower cap and left on for a few minutes.

After i got out of the shower, i applied kiehls leave in and went to class with wet hair. LOL

I have been shopping for makeup lately. I acquired some more MAC eyeshadows and there is one that is my favorite. I dont know the name but i will find out and post it. I bought the MUFE HD foundation in 177. I picked it because i have yellow undertones. Well i wore it 2 days ago and i didnt like the way it looked. I exchanged it for the 175 which has redder tones but it works for me. Then i splurged and bought LORAC brow powder in dark brown. I have never used a brow powder and dont know wtf to do with it. 

I now live in the dorms at University place. Im older than my roomies but i dont care. We have to walk to class which is cool. I ordered a GPS with bluetooth(garmin nuvi 360) and hope this one doesnt get stolen. Its small so i will just throw it in my purse. I plan to buy a mount that is detacheable so thieves wont know i have a GPS and break into my car.

BTW, i believe my hair is now fully APL and i have some strands that are grazing my bra strap. Im waiting for tomorrow when i see the boy so he can take pics. lol

I used the lactic acid again today. I left it on for 4 minutes. Felt a sting at first but it abated after a few secs. I washed and toned with my ACV mix.

CO-washed my hair. I over moisturized before so it was kinda greasy. I co washed, did an ACV rinse (1 bowl of water with 3 caps of acv), applied capilo sole & cinnamon conditioner then topped with kenra MC.

I was too lazy to apply leave in so i took a nap. I noticed that my hair was very lightweight and not too tangled when i woke up. It was still damp so i applied my half vitapro/half water mix then added castor oil on ends.

Im experimenting with my own liquid leave in:

I mixed added a dime sized amount of kiehls and same amount of redken anti snap(or whatever its called) to the vitapro/water mix so we’ll see how that goes.

So today i exactly one month after my last relaxer. I have not flat ironed since then. I took this pic on the day of my relaxer….im getting to full APL..

I have been airdrying with hair in ponytail and i have started baggying
Its been about 3 years since i last baggied but i wanted to give it a try. I had a few split ends so i dusted the splits but i wasnt satisfied so i trimmed. Just made blunt cuts and evened it out a little. Had to cut off more than an inch in some tiny sections but i dont notice a big difference in my length. Those parts looks dead and scraggly so i had to let them go.
My hair is 90% dry so i dug out my denman D3 and brushed out the shed hair. I brushed a few more times and when i pull on my ends, no hair gets on my hands.

What i do(washing)
CO wash with V05 kiwi and lime
follow with kenra mc
follow with PC
Towel dry
Apply rebuilder on scalp
Apply diluted giovanni vitapro
Kiehls leave in
Seal with castor oil


For daily moisturizing:
Apply rebuilder
Apply seyani hair butter
tie shower cap on ends and go to bed!!
I have not used elasta qp moisturizer in weeks!! I wasnt too eager to use the seyani as a daily moisturizer cos i read somewhere that
butters and oils only seal moisture but its working.

Now my skin:
UGH. The right side of my face is NASTY and the left side is smooth and perfect. Not breaking out a whole lot lately but i got back on Nature’s cure. Im trying to keep my hands off my face. Maxipeel is not working…well kinda. The surrounding area of the dark spot is lighter but not the spot itself
I went back to using Avene Diacneal. I will use it daily and finish the tube I wash my face with the acne.org cleanser, tone with my ACV/lemon juice/water misture, wait an hour then apply diacneal.

I still have my MUAC 40% Lactic acid peel sample. I will start using it once a week till it’s finished then will upgrade tp 55% if i still need it. Did 2 mins tonight and will do 3 next time.

Things slowed down a lot at work until someone quit last week so now we have to pick her shift! It snowed yesterday I didnt take pics because i was worried about getting home safely. Im taking 16 hours of classes and that includes Statistics, Accounting and History classes so im kinda reaching my limit. I hadnt bought make up in a while so i bought 2 MAC glitters from the Originals collection. The transparent teal and antique gold. I was going to buy parrot eyeshadow but it was sold out so i will wait for the manager of the counter to see if she has any at home. I might end up buying 2 from her since its so popular.

I have been trying to buy at least one piece of clothing every week so my wardrobe has increased a little bit. I did get rid of about 20 pairs of jeans a month ago!

My hair has been giving me problems. I know i caused it….with all the 
flat ironing with my chi that doesnt have a temp control and relaxing 
every month *cringes*. So i guess its pay back time. I was so mad 
last night and decided to chop off the dead ends. Last trim was 
before i got braids last year so this time, i cut off the ends with 
no worries about retaining length. It feels better now and 
no breakage so far. I will probably do an emergencee treatment 
and which reminds me, i need to stock up on joice k-pak and V05
conditioners for CO—washing (yep, still doing that).

My skin also went psycho on me. Like today, i had 3 huge zits on
my chin and it was sooo painful. I slathered on Aztec healing clay,
left for an hour, dug up Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid and applied on
the whole chin area then applied clearasil 10% BP. No mo pain!! I
have been using Ambi even and clear moisturizer with sunscreen
but i dont think its doing anything so i did some more research and
will be trying Kinerase. After reading reviews on productville, i got
a sample of the clear skin moisture light from work. Ill use it for a
week and get the bottle if i like the results. My lancome teint idole
ultra is nearly finished. That is the first time i have ever hit bottom
on a foundation and i will definitely buy another one.

I think its time to re-vamp my skin regimen

Morning:
Wash with purpose cleanser
Tone with witch hazel
Apply Paula’s choise 2% BHA
Apply moisturizer mixed with shiseido spf 33 lotion


Evening:
Wash with purpose
Tone
Apply whatever treatment im in the mood for. either BP, maxi peel or jan marini gel.

Im still using nature’s cure pills btw.

Ive been busy with work and school so far. Well, ive been busy doing some shopping too!! I have been lurking on the FB on MUA and ive been sucked in. I got my Chloes that i posted below on wednesday and im so excited! I put them in my car with some of my other shoes but put them back inside. Im scared of my car being robbed or whatever and i cannot afford to lose those shoes. I ordered these Dark, wide leg jeans from GAP:



They havent even shipped them out yet so im worried.

And a GPS for my car I just bought this tonight. I was chatting with my boss and co-workers  and they were trying to give me directions and i couldnt get it. They were also worried about me getting lost like i always do so they just said i might as well get a GPS instead of clothes until the next payday. I went to Ulta for the first time today and it was amazing. Im going to start going very often. Luckily, they carry Kenra products.  I think the trade secrets at my mall is closed. whatever. I prefer it to sephora because its just so crowded in sephora and its inside a mall therefore, i have to wade through crowds of people. ugh.


Went to do some shopping for my face I have this huge, painful zit and my skin is going crazy. Well, not really, im the one obsessed with it at the moment. Unfortunately, DDF daily matte didnt work for me. Neither did a sample of MD something that theu gave me at sephora. So i shelled out some money and bought Shiseido spf 33 lotion. Im still in shock…and i hope i dont jinx this. My face is a chicken grease fest. No matter what i tried. And you know ive tried everything! Ive used it for 3 days and….....my face is totally matte like ALL day. I dont need to grab kleenex and blotting paper and there was a time when i felt myself sweatin and i looked in the mirror expecting to see the oilies and i was shocked! TOTALLY MATTE. Ive found my HG moisturizer/sunscreen/mattifier. I tried the cream and it is also a matte finish so i might have to get it when it gets colder!

Now, i have another journey. Shiseido is very water proof so i cant wash it off with soap and water. Im using MAC cleanse off oil and i was surprised at how it totally washed off the sunscreen. My bottle of neutrogena alcohol free toner is finished. Im now looking for a new toner. I bought boots No 7 a few minutes ago and i got home to read reviews and they were bad so im going to return it to target tomorrow and see if i can pick something up. I love my skin but i really hope finding a new toner wont prove to be as expensive as all other things ive been trying to find.

Umm what else,.....im now using bumble and bumble leave in/rinse off conditioner as a leave in. I love Kiehls but it gave me the frizzies. I bought a few tubes of fermodyl 619 and i apply before applying the leave in. I have given up on rollersetting for now. Too much trouble and i love airdrying. Ive stopped making my hair into a ponytail while its wet cos people said it might break it so i just roll it and pin it up. I look like crap on hair wash days but thats what headbands and hats are for!

I need a new laptop and im going to get an ibook! Ive been using my brother’s spare laptop for the past 3 weeks. its nice and fast but its heavy Im going to sell my IBM or just let it sit there. i dont care.

I also went to the prescriptives counter in Parisians and got a custom blend foundation. I got Bobbi brown ones yesterday and they were too red and i just gave up and returned em. The PX ones were 62 bucks for like 2oz. I think its worth it


I ordered some samples of mama lotion last week and ive been using it every other day with juice beauty blemish clearing serum.

I just ordered this one. I had my eye on a few but i chose it because of the straps for brushes, the mirror and the drawers. The ones with ladder compartments can be annoying because of the overlapping and digging out my makeup when im applying is NOT fun.

So i used ALL new products today except my leave-in conditioner and moisturizer. My reviews:
Silicon Mix – WOW. I left it in my hair for about 3 minutes and detangled and there was no hair on the comb. It has a strong perfumey smell that lingers for a while but im still impressed.

Alter ego garlic treatment – I used as a prepoo. When i applied, my hair was hard and it just sat on it. I massaged into my scalp and hair then i wore a shower cap and tied a towel. I lef tit on for 30 minutes and my hair was definitely soft when i rinsed. Im not sure if im supposed to see a difference with the shedding now or after a few uses. But i will continue to use it. I might mix with my cinnamon conditioner for the next use. I havent used the cinnamon con in a while and i need to use it before i forget about it!

Nioxin Smoothing Protectives Moisturizing Cleanser – i like. This is replacing Burts bees baby bees shampoo bar. I had been using the shampoo bar for a year but i needed a break and my bar went missing. My stylist uses the conditioner for me and i like it so i decided to try the shampoo. I do have scanty hair so i guess that’s a plus!

Im able to stay on track and prevent slacking from my regimen by using a hair calendar. I got it from the microsoft website in the templates section.

So i tried the monistat gel on friday. When applying foundation, it didnt glide on like it did with
smashbox. It didnt break me out though. Im going to use my smashbox one more time and then try the monistat for the last time before i make the final decision.

So i’ve heard, read and seen people use this product. Not for what it was made for…but as a make up primer. I went to the grocery store last night, was walking by THAT section and grabbed it. I havent used it yet and i hope i dont forget i have it. I have the smashbox primer and it took me forever to buy because of the price. The monistat is like a godsend.

Uh yeah…i got my laptop back a few days ago. YAY 

I was browsing reviews for fyrinnae eyeshadows when someone mentioned this one. Well, their samples and full sizes are cheaper. The full size is 5g and its like 3 bucks while fyrinnae’s full size products are 3g for like 5 bucks. They ship samples for free Im going to browse and get a few samples. I noticed that most of the fyrinnae samples i got are mostly green. I have too many MAC purple eyeshadows so my next purchases might be blue and other colors that are different from what i currently have. I love discovering stuff like this

-I took my BAF 200 quiz 2 today and i didnt do too well though it was better than test 1.
-I finally got the hang of making shrimp! Last night, i just added ALL my spices in water, boiled and added the shrimp. Tonight, i bought vegetable broth, added some spices and tried the method again and it was awful! So next time, i’ll stick with my water method.
-I received the camellia oil in the mail and i cant wait to try it!
-I also received my fyrinnae order and im excited about that too!
-I bought a domain from godaddy.com to try and host my blog and uh…i dont like it so ill stick with blogsome
-I have gone back to my beloved Christian Dior self foaming cleanser. I realized that the cetaphil wasnt cleaning my face well. It wasnt stripping but still, whats the point of having a cleanser that wont cleanse? The CD one isnt stripping. I just had a problem with break outs and i thot that was the problem. We shall see
-Yep, i went to the interview today and no, i dont have the job. i dont know whether i have the job or not.

Umm, i had finished one satchet of Nature’s cure 
tablets and was already looking to buy another satchet. We went to walgreens and i couldnt find it there. I was looking online when i noticed that all the descriptions said they were a months supply and i was like "umm mine wasnt a month!!" I counted the holes in the empty satchet and went to look for the box to see if i bought the mini pack when i saw another satchet in the box!! Omg. i felt soooo stupid. LOL. Its all good tho. haha

So i filed my fedral tax return last week and my state 2 days ago. How come i received my state before the federal. Its a measly amount but its something. blech. So i went to a bar for the 1st time tonight. COOL

I went ahead and ordered the fyrinnae eyeshadows. I got anemone, assassin’s touch, couture, dragon skin and fool’s gold. Which reminds me. They have some really cool names. One is called OMG WTF BBQ. That is awesome. LOL

Im also expecting a transparent case for my BB pearl and NARS eyeshadow duo in misfit.

Well, For some unknown reason, my Opera browser 9.10 wont connect to the internet. Its been having problems for the past few weeks and it got worse. i deleted and downloaded an older version and it still didnt connect so i deleted it and downloaded firefox. It’ll take some getting used to and it sucks that it doesnt have an email program like Opera. I downloaded some plug ins and themes and ive noticed some glitches but wtf can i do? In fact, im making this post from a plug in called performancing. Just click on the button type and click and it gets sent here. I dont have to open any web pages

Anyhoo, there’s this website ive been checking out. They have mineral loose eyeshadows and the colors are GORGEOUS and its cheap!! w00t. They also have samples that are like 1.50 bucks 0m6 w7f 88q

SO ive been browsing and i found some of these i will try. They’re similar colors but different shades and textures. Ill just get the samples for now. Hell, i still have plenty MAC piggy samples just sitting around. might as well.

So I was supposed to get my period yesterday. It didnt come so to get my mind off it, i went shopping this morning. I tried on a few dresses. I fell in love with this one but it tooo dressy and its kinda tight in the boob area.

When i was leaving, i decided to stop by the MAC counter and i bought 2lipglosses and 1 eyeshadow.
